Jurgen Klinsmann
U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati named Jurgen Klinsmann as head coach of the U.S. Men's National Team on July 29, 2011, making him the 35th coach in the history of the program. Klinsmann has been involved in soccer almost his entire life as a player, coach, television analyst and consultant. As a player, Klinsmann was one of the game's premier forwards and enjoyed a 17-year career that included stints in four major European leagues for a number of clubs, including VfB Stuttgart, Inter Milan, AS Monaco, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich. One of the most well-known international players of all-time, he earned 108 appearances for Germany and scored 47 goals while helping the team win the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy and the 1996 European Championship.

Jill Ellis  (18 facts about her)
1.    Full name: Jillian Ellis
2.    Daughter to John and mother Margaret Ellis, sister to Paul Ellis
3.    Coaching is a family business: Her fathers reputation proceeds himself and has much to do with Jill’s success, her brother Paul is also a coach and now heads up the Soccer Academy her father started when he moved to the states
4.    Birthday: September 16, 1966
5.    Born in Portsmouth, England, U.K.
6.    Moved to the States in 1981 at the age of 15
7.    Went to College at William and Mary
8.    Made third team All-American in 1987
9.    She studied English Literature
10.   Her first official soccer job was as an assistant coach at NC State from 1988-90
11.   The team did made it to the Elite 8 all three seasons she was there. under her
12.   Jill began Helping with the Women’s National program in 2000 for the U 21 team
13.   Jill left her job as Development director for the U.S Soccer Federation
14.   She will be the 8th head coach of the of the USWNT and the 4th woman
15.   There was no women’s soccer while Ellis was in England
