1960's

In 1968 this was the first year for the professional bengals. The bengals won
their first 2 season games against the Denver Broncos, and the Buffalo Bills,
24-10, and 34-23 respectively. During the 1968-1969 seasons the Bengals played
at Nippert Stadium. During these two seasons the bengals were still in the AFL.
(American Football League) In 1969 the Bengals had their only tie against the
Houston Oilers, the score being 31-31. The Bengals first ever draft pick was #54
Bob Johnson. He was the center for the Cincinnati Bengals.
