Ohio State vs. Illinois

The battle for the Illibuck trophy. The Buckeyes traveled to Illinois on a cold november afternoon.  Elliott played like his usual self; racking up 181 yards with two touchdowns.  Barrett contributed 74 rushing yards of his own with a touchdown. Barrett also threw for 150 yardsand a touchdown. This included a long bomb to Michael Thomas that was followed immediately by a touchdown pass right back to Thomas. All that our defense allowed was three points to this Illinois team. Proving once again that they are one of the best defenses in the nation. Our special teams also had a positive note. Curtis Samuel tipped a punt only allowing the ball to travel 12 yards. After this win the Buckeyes head into a bye week to prepare for Michigan State.
