Ohio State vs. Western Michigan
Entering this game Ohio State had to prove that they were legit after a rocky performance against Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan was a perfect opponent to do so. Thankfully, they rebounded rather well. Cardale Jones got the start at quarterback and had his best game of the season. He completed over 50% of his passes, threw for 288 yards and threw two touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliot had another great game, rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown on just 16 carries. Elliott gets the player of the week with his phenomanal play when he hurdled two defenders in the game. Our defense proved themselves worthy again. Adolphus Washington, the nose tackle, intecepted Western Michigan’s quarterbackand took the house. All 290 pounds of him sprinted to the house, and he is not the fastest player on the field. This helped the Buckeyes secure a 38-12 victory.
