Ohio State vs. Minnesota
Cardale Jones was again behind center for the Buckeye’s against Minnesota in place of the suspended J.T. Barrett. Our defense had to spark this team and thankfully that is what happened. In the second quarter with no points on the board either way, Vonn Bell intercepted a pass and took it back to the house for a pick six. This provided the spark that was needed. Our offense the went on to put up fourteen more points to make the score 21-0. After Minnesota rallied to make the score 21-14 Jones took matters into his own hands and pulled a move out of Barrett’s playbook. He called a zone read and pulled the ball away from Elliott and ran up the gut for a 38 yard touchdown run. Time for a showdown against Illinois for the Illibuck Trophy.
