Childhood

At the young age of 13, Jimmy Butler already had it rough. His father had abandoned him when he was just a child, and his mother had just kicked him out of the house, saying she “didn’t like the look of him.” So at only 13, Butler was already alone on the streets. For about a year, while still attending school, Butler was living couch to couch at his friend’s houses. Looking forward in his career, it is easy to see that Butler’s humble attitude originated at this difficult but pivotal time in his life. Fortunately, his senior year, help would arrive.

However, the consequences of Butler's troubled life as a kid weren't all bad. Butler regularly attributes his hard working attitude to his humble beginning back in Tomball. Despite all he dealt with, he wouldn't have it any other way.
