Daily Grace / it’sGrace

Name: Grace Anne Helbig
Birthdate: September 27, 1985
Origin: South Orange, New Jersey, United States

Grace Helbig, known mostly for her former channel DailyGrace, now it’sGrace, is an American YouTuber with over 4 million subscribers and nearly 345 million video views collectively on the two channels where she’s made videos solo. She started making videos on her current channel, it’sGrace, originally titled gracehinabox, in 2007 to get over the boredom of house sitting. A notable multi-channel network and entertainment website noticed Helbig’s vlogs and offered her a channel through their sponsorship, which was called DailyGrace. She made videos on this channel during weekdays, which were widely popular for their consistency and Helbig’s comedy.  Helbig ended her contract with the media company in December 2013, which ended DailyGrace. The videos are still up and managed by the company, but the channel is now titled DailyYou. She took a break for a couple weeks from making videos, and returned to making videos on her old channel, which she renamed to it’sGrace. Her video scheule has remained the same, but she has changed the themes of her videos since she did not own the rights to the video topics she used on DailyGrace. She signed with another multi-network channel. Helbig was also featured on the YouTube channel “I love makeup” for 24 videos, which were filmed in 2013 and 2014. She has toured with her friends across America, Canada, Europe, and Australia to perform comedy shows. She has appeared at many other YouTuber events and conferences. Aside from her vlogging career, Helbig has also appeared on various TV shows, including her own, The Grace Helbig Show, which is on E! every Friday at 10:30 pm. She starred in the movie Camp Takota with two other friends from YouTube. She will appear in the theatrical release of Smosh: The Movie. Helbig has her own podcast series called Not Too Deep with Grace Helbig. It reached the top of most popular podcasts on iTunes. She also came out with a self-help book titled Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-Up on October 21, 2014, which reached number 1 on the New York Times Best Seller, How-To, and Miscellaneous List. Helbig has been nominated for 15 awards in her career, and has won 2 IAWTW awards for the DailyGrace channel, 2 Streamy awards for DailyGrace and her internet personality, and a Webby Award for the it’sGrace channel.
Grace Helbig is a very witty and funny YouTuber. She may not be suitable to an audience under the age of 16, but her channel is worth checking out if you’re into comedy.
