Matthew Bomer

Matt Bomer stars as Neal Caffrey in USA Network’s original series “White Collar.” Bomer is one of Hollywood’s most promising young actors working today. For the role of Neal Caffrey, Bomer won the Breakthrough Male Television Performer of 2010 from Movieline’s Breakthrough Awards. Bomer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University. After college, Bomer moved to New York where he worked on such acclaimed stage productions as “Spring Awakening” (directed by Michael Mayer) and “Grey Gardens” (directed by Michael Grief). He also starred as Ernest Hemingway in “Villa America” at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Bomer’s other television credits include the lead role on the series “Traveler,” produced by Academy Award winners Bruce Cohen and Dan Jinks (“American Beauty”). He also has had recurring roles on NBC’s “Chuck” and the series “Tru Calling.” Bomer’s feature-film credits include a starring role in New Line’s “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning,” opposite Jordana Brewster. He also appeared in “Flight Plan” with Jodie Foster. Most recently Bomer completed filming “Magic Mike,” directed by Steven Soderbergh. The film, in which Bomer co-stars with Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello Alex Pettyfer, and Matthew McConaughey, is scheduled to be released in June of this year. Although I have not seen as much of Matt Bomer’s acting as I would like to, I have seen a little bit and I really enjoy him in “White Collar”. Bomer is a talented actor and I always appreciate that.
