The primary mission objectives of the second crewed lunar landing included an extensive series of lunar exploration tasks. The other objective was to deliver the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package which was a station that recorded lunar seismic activity and other general data. Apollo 12 launched from Cape Kennedy on Nov. 14, 1969. Its crew consisted of Charles Conrad, Alan Bean, and Richard Gordon. Three telecasts were broadcast to earth during the flight showing different views of the earth, moon, and crew moving from room to room.
