The first season the Banker’s Fieldhouse was used for the Pacers, they went to the NBA Finals to lose to the Lakers; This was the 1999-2000 season. This stadium does many other events besides basketball like concerts, bull riding, ice hockey, and WWE. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, Bankers Life Fieldhouse was ranked the No. 1 venue in the NBA according to the Sportsbusiness Journal/Sportsbusiness Daily Reader Survey. The Stadium can hold up to 18,000 people and costed around 183 million dollars to build. Its official opening day was November 6, 1999 when the Pacers beat the Boston Celtics at their new home.
