Greatest Seasons

  1. 2015-16-In the 2015-16 Season was the greatest season for them. It was the season that they won their first championship ending a 50 plus year drought for Cleveland not having a championship. This season did have their up and downs though. Like having to fire are coach in the middle of the season after the 50 plus point loss to the warriors. This season was lead by Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love as far as points goes. In the NBA finals we were down 3-1 to the Warriors in a 7 game series. No team in the history of the NBA has ever came back from a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals, but Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavailiers somehow did it.
  2. 2014-15-The 2014-15 season was the first season after Lebron returned to Cleveland. The Cavailiers haven’t made the playoffs since Lebron left in 2010. There was some chemistry issues at the beggining of the season because most of the team was new, but they still ended up getting the number 2 seed the Eastern conference. In the first round of the playoffs Kevin Love injured his shoulder and was out for the rest of the playoffs. This is affected us at first losing 2 games to the Chicago Bulls in the second round. We eventually adapted and swept the number 1 seeded Atlanta Hawks in the the Eastern Conference finals. Then we played the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals. In game 1 Kyrie Irving tore his achillies and was out the rest of the finals and part of the next season. Unfortunetly Lebron couldn’t beat the warriors all by himself and eventually lost the finals in 6 games.

  3. 2006-2007-The 2006-07 season was the first time the Cavailiers ever made the NBA finals. Nobody expected them to make the finals. There only was one good player and that was Lebron James, who was the best player in the league at only 21 years old, but you can’t win a championship with only one player. In the playoffs they played the Detroit Pistons who had made the NBA finals the past 2 years. They actually beat them in 6 games and people started to think maybe Lebron James was that good and that he could win a championship by himself. Then they were playing the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals. Most people knew that there was no way the Cavailiers were going to beat the Spurs, but they weren’t supposed to beat the pistons so you never know. In the finals it showed that you couldn’t win it by yourself as the cavs struggled to even keep games close and got swept. Everyone knew the future was bright for the 21 year old Lebron James and the Cavailers.
