Migos was formed in 2009, by Quavo,Takeoff, and Offset originally known as the Polo Club out of Lawrenceville, Georgia. The Migo Gang are all relatives and were raised in mostly the same homes and the same neighborhood; Quavo is Takeoff's uncle, and Offset is Quavo's cousin. This trio released their first full-length project, a mixtape titled Juug Season in 2011. They followed with the mixtape No Label in 2012. On these mixtapes, you can often hear the unparalleled adlib style that the Migos created when they first bursted onto the trap scene. The three are commonly heard echoing each other, saying related phrases, and shouting exclamations under the rap track. This practice was started when they were still the Polo Club and just rapping to their schoolmates. This connection made their raps flow impeccably, but was also the reason that they would get in trouble together as you can see from their run ins with the law. The Migos early, poverty stricken life left them with an unmatched drive to be great and propelled them to the top of the industry.
